This is surely the golden brief.
We get along well with BackMarket, but we didn’t expect them to entrust us with such a stylish project.
To put it simply, the brand wanted to establish its new identity on the occasion of an international campaign, by collaborating with illustrator artists.
Our mission: find these artists, guide their illustrations around chosen themes, and turn it all into animation. And, incidentally, adapt it into 4 languages and 22 formats. And in 40 days.
Boom. Pure gold. The nectar of the mercenary.
We met and cast fabulous artists and finally built a team with incredible talent: Magdiel, Alina, Kao, and good old Alex. Each took on a theme to produce illustrations with a unique look.
The animations went through the hands of the mega Brave team: Maël, Sebastien, Alex, XXX, XXX and our other good old Jordan.
The composition is signed by the undisputed king Axel Guenoun.
Obviously, you don’t roll all this out without a lot of prep work, project management, sharpening the vision, and oiling the workflow. (We’ll keep the details and methodology for another post if you’re interested.) But luckily there was Coralie Bravard (that name!) and the Back Market team, with Hannah and Victor at the helm, with whom it felt like surfing every wave without ever falling.
To finish, the campaign is a hit in France and around the world. The US is leaving new products behind for upcycled ones! By the way, if you pass through Dallas, NY, or LA, you’ll probably run into us again. We’re up on display.
